Alright, vacation over.
Smoky-voiced sadness-siren Sarabeth Tucek had a pretty crappy year, culminating in the loss of her dad, which seems to me like an excellent reason to take an indefinite hiatus from everything to concentrate on whisky and uncontrollable sobbing. Fortunately Ms. Tucek is made of far stronger stuff, and instead funneled her grief into a fairly stunning record about having a pretty crappy year. May she never be able to make another one again.
