Thunderously languid doom-goblins Electric Wizard burst onto the scene in 1997 with Come My Fanatics, setting both heavy metal nerds and herbal enthusiasts aflutter with excitement at their heady drones and Sabbath-drowning-in-molasses riffs.  Few, however, suspected what they were in for a few short years later; stoner-metal’s crowning achievement and most aptly named record, Dopethrone.
